On a good day, I’m just a wee bit obsessive compulsive, a tiny bit neurotic, and usually you can find me going from obsessed to bored in about a half a second. Living with Louise can be really exciting, or a little scary depending on the day. Sometimes it’s easier to talk about Louise in the third person, that way I don’t hurt her feelings when I tell you how she is, frickin’ crazy! Don’t you think most creative people are this way – are you? Maybe I just like to tell myself these kinds of things to make myself, Louise, feel better; she’s a little fragile you know.
Like I said, “I’m weird like that”…
Whatever I am, I am. I tell you all this to say, I’m a little bored. I’m not bored with you, blogging, cooking, or even photography, but I’m just ready to try something new. I simply adore being around creative people and online I am often inspired by my friend Urban Muser. She is always linking up to creativity projects around the web. Thanks to her, I’m trying out my skills with iphone photography and linking up to 52 Weeks of Happiness. Easy enough, just take pictures of things that make you wildly happy.
What makes Louise wildly happy? Food and Flapjack.
This last weekend I hit the Irvine farmer’s market (the farmer’s market always makes me happy) with a group of food bloggers, then it was off to Food Bloggers Los Angeles to party it up in Erika’s Kitchen. I had an iphone, my Canon 40D, and a Flip camera… did I mention I want to shoot videos too?
Would you watch? Really… would you?
The rest of the pictures are from my Canon 40D, the pictures of the figs are my favorite – indoors, natural light (“almost” no styling – I couldn’t help myself).
What makes you happy? Take a picture and post it on Satisfied’s facebook wall.
