Kitchen tips for busy moms…

What kind of tips do I have for busy moms who want to stay on a budget and get dinner on the table in a hurry?  How do you raise a family with traditional values in a very non traditional world?  I took some time to think about these subjects this week as I was preparing my thoughts for a radio segment on “Adventures in the Kitchen with Cheri Liefeld.

On busy days how do I get dinner to the table quickly?  Like many working moms, I don’t always have the time or energy to whip up gourmet meals during the week, so I cook smarter.  I’ve found that cooking in bulk is the best way to save time and money.  Cook once, freeze half, and reinvent the rest of the week.

Menu ideas

Make a large batch of meatballs – freeze half for another week.

Meal #1 Spaghetti and meatballs

Meal # 2 Meatball subs

Meal #3 Meatball pizza on store bought dough
