Passover Potluck with “The Shiksa”, Flour-less Chocolate Hazelnut Cake

One of the best things about living and working in Los Angeles has to be the people I’ve met along the way.  Last Thanksgiving I had the  pleasure of dining with a group of food bloggers.  Somewhere in between the turkey and the scalloped potatoes is where I met “The Shiksa” –  Tori Avey”.    I am thrilled to be participating in Tori’s online “Passover Potluck“.  It is a collection of recipes from Jewish and non Jewish food bloggers.  When she invited me, it didn’t take me but a second to know that I wanted to do dessert.   Every detail of the Passover meal is well thought out and carefully prepared, so it can get a little tricky if you have never prepared a Passover dish before.  Not only does the food have to be Kosher, but at Passover there can also be no leavening ingredients.    I’ve been making this decadent flour-less hazelnut cake for my Jewish clients for years, so I knew it would be perfect.

Tori will be updating the main Passover Potluck page as new recipes are revealed each day, so be sure to keep an eye on it.  And join the conversation on Twitter with hashtag #PassoverPotluck.
