VIDEO EDITION – How to bake a potato!



Baked potatoes with salsa & fresh lemon juice

  • 4 - 8 ounce Idaho russet potatoes, scrubbed clean
  • Olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh tomato salsa
  • Lemon wedges
  • Kosher salt & fresh black pepper
  1. Pre heat your oven to 450 degrees
  2. Dry potatoes and drizzle lightly with olive oil, rub oil evenly onto potato skin
  3. Sprinkle with kosher salt.
  4. Bake for 25-35 minutes or until the potatoes are fork tender.
  5. Pierce potatoes with a fork to create a + shape across the top.
  6. With your fingers push the potato up and open from the bottom.
  7. Serve warm with salt & pepper, and or salsa and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

    I would eat baked potatoes with lemon everyday if I knew I would end up looking like you. Geez Louise!

    What a gorgeous video, and I especially like the opening with the apron…. nice edit and shots! Sharing with my readers now…. My video will be out on Monday… we shot on the same hot day, so I know what you were dealing with. 🙂
